Baseball Recap: Westside Takes a Loss

Westside was the 9-7 winner over Silver Bluff when they last played one another last Wednesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Patriots fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 6-5 on Wednesday.

Tristan Williamson was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.

Westside has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season. As for Silver Bluff, their record now sits at 3-9.

Westside didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 8-1 loss against Burke County on the 27th. As for Silver Bluff, they have also already played their next contest, a 13-0 defeat against Swansea on the 28th.
