Soccer Game Preview: Vacaville Christian vs. Lindhurst

The Vacaville Christian Falcons will face off against the Lindhurst Blazers at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Vacaville Christian's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Mesa Verde as Vacaville Christian made off with a 7-0 win. Jayla Swindle was a massive factor in the win as she booted in six goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Lindhurst entered their tilt with Woodland Christian on Tuesday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They were the clear victor by a 5-1 margin over the Cardinals. Five seems to be a good number for the Blazers as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of goals in their previous game.

Lindhurst has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 62 goals over those 12 contests. As for Vacaville Christian, their win bumped their record up to 9-3-1.

Vacaville Christian might still be hurting after the 4-1 loss they got from Lindhurst in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Vacaville Christian was down 3-0.
