Recap: San Jacinto Tigers vs. Poly Bears
The San Jacinto Tigers won the last time they faced the Poly Bears, and things went their way on Wednesday too. San Jacinto was the clear victor by a 50-26 margin over Poly.
San Jacinto's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mary Oziengbe, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 15 rebounds. The matchup was Oziengbe's third in a row with at least ten points. Luv'lee Sadler was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with 6 rebounds and 6 steals.
San Jacinto's victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Poly, they have fallen quite a ways from their 21-8 record last season and are now at 2-4.
San Jacinto is on the road again on Friday and play against Redlands East Valley at 4:00 p.m. on December 1st. Redlands East Valley has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Poly, they will square off against Aquinas at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Aquinas is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 57 points per game.
