Baseball Game Preview: Chapin Eagles vs. West Florence Knights

For the second straight game, Chapin will face off against West Florence. The Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Knights at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Chapin is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games.

Chapin is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They walked away with a 6-3 win over West Florence.

Griff Harper spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on six hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Kaedyn Harris, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. That home run was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Felix Flecha Ruiz, who went 1-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

West Florence's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 20-8. As for Chapin, their victory bumped their record up to 20-9.
