St. Lucy's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They blew past the San Gorgonio Spartans 50-19. The Regents have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 21 points or more this season.

Despite the defeat, San Gorgonio had strong showings from D Moreno, who posted six points, and Jazmin Benson, who had five points in addition to six boards and five steals.

St. Lucy's pushed their record up to 9-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.7 points per game. As for San Gorgonio, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8.

Coincidentally, St. Lucy's and San Gorgonio will both be playing Pomona Catholic the next time they take the court. St. Lucy's will head out to face Pomona Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, while San Gorgonio will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
