Soccer Game Preview: Hills Academy vs. Milledgeville Athletic Club

The Hills Academy Knights are taking a road trip to face off against the Milledgeville Athletic Club Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Hills Academy took a five-goal loss the last time they faced off against Young Americans Christian, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Hills Academy had just enough and edged out Young Americans Christian 2-1 on Thursday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Knights as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Jahleel Carr-Smalls and Austin Thompson scored both of Hills Academy's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Meanwhile, Milledgeville Athletic Club put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let United Home Schoolers get on the board and left with a 5-0 win.

Milledgeville Athletic Club's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-0. As for Hills Academy, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.
