Soccer Recap: Pierce Has No Trouble Against Oroville

After low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Pierce brought some dynamite into their most recent match. They put the hurt on the Oroville Tigers with a sharp 10-2 win on Tuesday. It was an even better day for Sofia Hernandez Ruiz as she scored three goals for her team.

The victory got Pierce back to even at 2-2. As for Oroville, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pierce will head out to take on Gridley at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Oroville, they will head out on the road to challenge Central Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
