Georgia Christian hasn't had much luck against Brookwood recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Generals will be playing in front of their home fans against the Warriors at 4:30 p.m. Georgia Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.2 runs per game this season.

On Friday, Georgia Christian came up short against Southland Academy and fell 8-3. The Generals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Georgia Christian saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mac Bowling, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Meanwhile, Brookwood had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Westwood a 12-0 shutout on Friday. That 12 run margin sets a new team best for the Warriors this season.

Georgia Christian's loss dropped their record down to 16-4. As for Brookwood, their victory bumped their record up to 8-17.

Georgia Christian might still be hurting after the 10-4 defeat they got from Brookwood in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can the Generals avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
