Basketball Recap: St. Patrick Takes a Loss

The St. Patrick Fighting Irish came up short against the Moss Point Tigers on Saturday and fell 48-38. The Fighting Irish have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Moss Point's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Terrance Coleman, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 14 rebounds. Coleman continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Charles Nettles, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 11 boards.

St. Patrick's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Moss Point, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

St. Patrick will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bryant at 7:00 p.m. on December 2. As for Moss Point, they will take on Northeast Lauderdale at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
