Softball Recap: Eureka Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Eureka can now relate to. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lindbergh Flyers on Saturday. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Flyers earlier this season, when they won 7-6.

Eureka's loss dropped their record down to 16-3. As for Lindbergh, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-4.

As of now, neither Eureka nor the Flyers have any future games scheduled.
