Basketball Game Preview: Tioga Bulldogs vs. Collinsville Pirates

Tioga is 2-8 against Collinsville since January of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Tioga Bulldogs are taking a road trip to challenge the Collinsville Pirates at 6:45 p.m.

Tioga is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Friday. They were beaten by Muenster 49-19. The matchup marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Collinsville hadn't done well against Lindsay recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Collinsville came out on top against Lindsay by a score of 63-54.

Collinsville has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.9 points per game. As for Tioga, their loss dropped their record down to 5-15.

Tioga took a serious blow against Collinsville in their previous meeting on January 3rd, falling 89-44. Can Tioga avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
