Soccer Game Preview: Central vs. Har-Ber

Central is 0-4 against Har-Ber since May of 2016 but things could change on Friday. The Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wildcats at 11:00 a.m. Central is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.

While Central's victory against North Little Rock wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tigers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Charging Wildcats last Thursday. Two seems to be a good number for Central as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of goals in their previous game.

Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, Har-Ber rose to the challenge on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Gryphons a 4-0 shutout.

Central's win bumped their record up to 13-4-3. As for Har-Ber, their victory bumped their record up to 10-7-5.

Central might still be hurting after the 4-1 loss they got from Har-Ber in their previous meeting back in February of 2019. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
