Softball Game Preview: Mt. Zion Bulldogs vs. Morrow Mustangs

The Mt. Zion Bulldogs will square off against the Morrow Mustangs at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Mt. Zion and five for Morrow.

Mt. Zion lost 24-8 to Luella on Tuesday.

Morrow couldn't beat Dutchtown on Tuesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the third inning. The Mustangs came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 19-7.

Carrie Clark was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Erin Dunston, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI and one double.

Morrow's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Mt. Zion, they now have a losing record of 8-9.
