Pierce won against Winters last Monday with 51 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Pierce Bears were the clear victor by a 51-29 margin over the Willows Honkers. The Bears have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 22 points or more this season.

Pierce's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rylie Delepierre, who almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine rebounds. Delepierre is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. Leah Charter was another key player, putting up eight points and 14 boards.

Pierce smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in three consecutive contests.

Pierce has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. As for Willows, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season.
