Baseball Recap: Arabia Mountain's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Arabia Mountain had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They put the hurt on the Tri-Cities Bulldogs with a sharp 13-1 victory on Monday. Considering the Rams' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Arabia Mountain's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 2-6. As for Tri-Cities, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Arabia Mountain will face off against Tri-Cities at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. We've got a battle between Bulldogs coming up. Decatur has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.56 runs per game on average), something Tri-Cities will no doubt try to take advantage of.
