Basketball Game Recap: Annenberg Panthers vs. Orthopaedic Vipers

If the Annenberg Panthers were feeling good off their 50-4 takedown of the Aspire Ollin Jaguars last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Annenberg took a 23-17 hit to the loss column at the hands of Orthopaedic. Annenberg was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Orthopaedic apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played on January 8th.

Orthopaedic was led to victory by Kelsy Baez and Betzabeth Lopez. Baez scored ten points, while Lopez scored eight points.

Annenberg's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Orthopaedic, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 7-9 record this season.

Annenberg will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against USC-MAE at 2:30 p.m. USC-MAE will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. As for Orthopaedic, they will head out on the road to face off against Animo Bunche at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. Animo Bunche is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
