Football Recap: Longview Lobos vs. Rowlett Eagles

With a playoff win on the line, Longview rose to the challenge on Friday. They really took it to the Rowlett Eagles for the full four quarters, racking up a 63-7 win. The Lobos might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by 24 points or more this season.

MASON WASHINGTON produced another solid performance rushing for 285 yards and three TDs on only 13 carries. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 87-yard run. JADEN HURNDON did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 74 receiving yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Longview was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 396 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in December of 2024.
