Soccer Recap: Bear Creek Plays to a Tie

On Thursday, neither the Bear Creek Bruins nor the Franklin Yellowjackets could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Bear Creek's goal came courtesy of Aliana Monarrez-Hernandez, who's now up to six this season.

With that draw, Bear Creek's record moves to 8-4-3. Meanwhile, Franklin's record is now 14-3-2.

Bear Creek will square off against Stagg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bear Creek is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.2 goals per game this season. As for Franklin, they will challenge Tokay at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Franklin is on a six-game streak of home wins, Tokay a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the pitch.
