Basketball Recap: Interboro Takes a Loss

If Interboro was riding high fresh off their 49-18 takedown of Chichester last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Interboro Buccaneers came up short against the Upper Merion Area Vikings on Monday, falling 48-24. The Buccaneers haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

When it comes to explaining why Interboro lost, don't look at Madilyn Mea. Despite the final result, she went 5 of 8 on her way to 11 points.

Interboro's loss dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Upper Merion Area, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.

Interboro won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Academy Park at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Upper Merion Area does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
