For the second straight game, Fort Calhoun will face off against Yutan-Mead. The Pioneers will take on the Patriots at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Fort Calhoun is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season.

Fort Calhoun managed to slip by Yutan-Mead the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Pioneers came up short against the Patriots on Saturday, falling 9-1. The Pioneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Yutan-Mead has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. As for Fort Calhoun, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-5.
