Baseball Recap: Northgate Broncos vs. Eureka Loggers

With a playoff win on the line, Northgate rose to the challenge on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Eureka Loggers as they made off with an 11-1 win. The victory was nothing new for the Broncos as they're now sitting on nine straight.

Northgate got a great performance from Brandon King as he tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. King has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Luke Dress, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double. Andres Zaragoza Roberts was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
