Cameron County extends home losing streak to four

Recap: Cameron County Raiders vs. Otto-Eldred Terrors

The Cameron County Raiders lost against the Otto-Eldred Terrors back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Cameron County took a 41-29 hit to the loss column at the hands of Otto-Eldred. Cameron County has not had much luck with Otto-Eldred recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Several Raiders players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Elsie Bresslin, who scored six points along with eight rebounds. That's the first time this season that Bresslin pulled down eight or more rebounds. Trinity Earle was another key contributor, scoring four points along with seven rebounds.

Otto-Eldred got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ayla Van Scoter out in front who scored eight points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Carrie Drummond, who scored six points along with ten rebounds and four steals.

Cameron County's loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-3. As for Otto-Eldred, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-4.

Cameron County will be home for the holidays to greet Smethport at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Smethport is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. As for Otto-Eldred, they will head out on the road to face off against Galeton at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Galeton comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 14 points in their last five games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
