Northwestern had won 11 straight games and Makayla Presser-Palmer did her part to make it 12 on Monday. The Wildcats walked away with a 56-49 victory over the Eisenhower Knights with plenty of help from Presser-Palmer, who went 13-for-25 on her way to 31 points in addition to six rebounds and four steals. Her big performance that evening made it 42 games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points.

Eisenhower's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lainey Font, who posted 12 points along with seven boards and five assists. Another player making a difference was Samantha Childs, who earned 13 points.

Northwestern's win bumped their record up to 16-3. As for Eisenhower, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-6.
