Soccer Game Preview: Ann Sobrato vs. Lincoln

The Ann Sobrato Bulldogs will take on the Lincoln Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Ann Sobrato is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Willow Glen on Tuesday. Neither Ann Sobrato nor Willow Glen could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Lincoln managed to keep up with Pioneer until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Lincoln lost 3-0 to Pioneer. The Lions just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. Ann Sobrato's draw gives them a new season record of 5-2-1.

Ann Sobrato suffered a grim 6-3 defeat to Lincoln in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Can Ann Sobrato avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
