El Dorado is 6-1 against Amador since December of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The El Dorado Cougars will head out to square off against the Amador Buffaloes at 5:30 p.m. El Dorado will be strutting in after a victory while Amador will be coming in after a loss.

El Dorado will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up 24 points on Tuesday, then bounced right back against Bradshaw Christian on Friday. El Dorado took their game with ease, bagging a 55-11 win over Bradshaw Christian.

Meanwhile, Amador came up short against Union Mine on Thursday and fell 42-32.

El Dorado's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-12. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.3 points over those games. As for Amador, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-12.

El Dorado couldn't quite finish off Amador in their previous meeting back in January and fell 44-41. Can El Dorado avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
