Stagg extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping them up to 8-5. They came out on top against the Oak Lawn Spartans by a score of 2-0. While the Chargers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Their offense was headlined by Amelia Kadamus and Katy Zumerchik, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from Maggie Gasienica and her 20 assists. Elaina Yasin controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

As for Oak Lawn, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-3. Surprisingly, this marked their fifth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Despite the loss, Oak Lawn still got an impressive performance from Maggie Mitchell, who had eight digs and two assists.

Stagg didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Rich Township on the 19th. As for Oak Lawn, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Romeoville on the 19th.
