Basketball Recap: Winside Wildcats vs. Crofton Warriors

Winside had lost nine straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Monday they dropped down to 2-5 to make it ten. They were outmatched by the Crofton Warriors and fell 63-24. The Wildcats were down 52-20 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Despite the defeat, Winside saw an underclassman step up: freshman Aftyn Schutt almost dropped a double-double with nine points and 12 rebounds. Schutt is crushing it when it comes to boards: she's pulled down at least eight every time she's taken the court this season.
