Soccer Game Preview: Bishop's vs. Santa Fe Christian

Santa Fe Christian is facing Bishop's at the wrong time: Bishop's suffered their first home loss of the season on Monday and they're likely out for redemption. They fell 2-0 to the Dons. Having soared to a lofty nine goals in the game before, the Knights' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, Santa Fe Christian kept a clean sheet against Foothills Christian back in December of 2024. They were the clear victor by a 5-0 margin over the Knights. Considering the Eagles have won three contests by more than three goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Santa Fe Christian's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those three matchups. As for Bishop's, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-2.

Bishop's suffered a grim 5-0 defeat to Santa Fe Christian in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. Can Bishop's avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
