Football Recap: Meridian Falls to Eagle in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Meridian had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 39-14 to the Eagle Mustangs on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Mustangs: they've now lost four in a row.

Cash Cahill threw for 272 yards and two TDs. London Sigman was his top target, picking up 35 receiving yards.

Eagle's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from AUSTIN RAMSEY, who threw for 181 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 42 yards and one score. BOWEN BLACKBURN was another key back, rushing for 101 yards and one TD on only five carries.

Coming up, Meridian will head out to challenge Mountain View at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Eagle, they will welcome Skyview at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
