After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Northwest Cabarrus, Salisbury was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Carson Cougars by a score of 49-42. The Hornets' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Salisbury's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Carson, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Salisbury has already played their next matchup, a 70-10 loss against Ben L. Smith on the 13th. Carson will take on North Rowan in a holiday battle at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars are facing the Cavaliers at the right time seeing as the Cavaliers are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
