McCook and Scottsbluff are an even 4-4 against one another since September of 2015, but not for long. The Bison will host the Bearcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
McCook barely beat Ogallala the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bison blew past the Indians, posting a 42-0 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Bison, who have now won four games in a row.

Tristan Campbell continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 58 yards and two scores, while also picking up 83 receiving yards and one touchdown. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last four times he's played.
Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something McCook proved: they limited Ogallala to a paltry -1.6 yards per carry. The team can thank Tate Schafer for the heroic effort on defense: he. McCook hasn't allowed more than 3.4 yards per carry in four consecutive contests.
McCook didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Asher Wilson, Ty Junker, and Trey Tiller picked up one apiece. Tiller got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Meanwhile, while Scottsbluff put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Hastings. The Bearcats blew past the Tigers 42-0. Given the Bearcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska football rankings (they are ranked 23rd, while the Tigers are ranked 102nd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.
McCook's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Scottsbluff, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 6-1.
