Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tift County). They blew past the Cairo Syrupmakers 13-2 on Tuesday. The Blue Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by six runs or more this season.

Tift County's victory bumped their record up to 16-6. As for Cairo, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-9.

Coming up, Tift County will take on Holmes County at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Holmes County will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Tift County surely won't give up without a fight. As for Cairo, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Valdosta at 5:30 p.m. The Syrupmakers are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
