Basketball Game Preview: Silver Valley Trojans vs. Riverside Prep Silver Knights

Silver Valley is 2-8 against Riverside Prep since February of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Silver Valley Trojans will square off against the Riverside Prep Silver Knights at 5:30 p.m. Silver Valley is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.

Silver Valley will bounce into Friday's game after beating University Prep, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Silver Valley walked away with a 43-34 victory over University Prep on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Riverside Prep posted their biggest win since January 17, 2024 on Monday. They breezed by Excelsior Charter to the tune of 47-14. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Silver Knights.

Riverside Prep has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for Silver Valley, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-4.

Everything came up roses for Silver Valley against Riverside Prep when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as the team secured a 64-32 win. In that matchup, Silver Valley amassed a halftime lead of 38-17, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
