Softball Recap: Waurika Takes a Loss

Waurika extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to six on Thursday, dropping them down to 0-2. They lost 15-1 to the Big Pasture Rangers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rangers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-0 back in August.

As for Big Pasture, their victory bumped their record up to 18-13. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 matches by six runs or more this season.

For Big Pasture's part, the team relied heavily on Kyleigh Martin, who went 1-for-2 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI Martin has posted since back in August. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashlynn Powell, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

As of now, neither Waurika nor Big Pasture have any future games scheduled.
