Football Game Preview: Roy/Mosquero Blue/Lady Blue vs. Logan Longhorns

The Roy/Mosquero Blue/Lady Blue will venture away from home to take on the Logan Longhorns at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Roy/Mosquero is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New Mexico's top teams: Floyd, who was ranked 21st at the time (Roy/Mosquero was ranked 13th). The Blue/Lady Blue put the hurt on the Broncos with a sharp 80-56 victory on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Blue/Lady Blue in their matchups with the Broncos: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Logan never let their opponents score last Friday. They blew past Lazbuddie 50-0. Logan might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by 50 points or more this season.

Logan's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Roy/Mosquero, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Roy/Mosquero was taken down by Logan 67-16 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Blue/Lady Blue avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
