Bishop's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 43-40 win over the Lincoln Hornets. For the Knights, this counts as revenge for the 54-50 victory the Hornets walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2017.

Bishop's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Lincoln, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Looking ahead, Bishop's and San Diego will face off at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. As for Lincoln, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Rancho Christian at 7:30 p.m. on January 10, 2026.
