Basketball Game Preview: Mt. Carmel Sundevils vs. Valley Center Jaguars

The Mt. Carmel Sundevils will face off against the Valley Center Jaguars at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mt. Carmel has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Mt. Carmel is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Ramona: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Mt. Carmel blew Ramona out of the water with a 71-8 final score. The Sundevils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 33 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 68 points the game before, Valley Center was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They fell 35-23 to Escondido.

Mt. Carmel's victory bumped their record up to 15-11. As for Valley Center, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-10.
