Soccer Recap: Central Davidson Takes a Loss

Central Davidson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 7-1 to the East Rowan Mustangs. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Central Davidson were already down 3-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Emiliano Saaverde-Ponce, which was the first he's scored this season.

Central Davidson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for East Rowan, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-0-1.

Coming up, Central Davidson will host Jordan-Matthews at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for East Rowan, they will head out to take on Mount Pleasant at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
