Football Recap: Cedar Mountain Skates Past Renville County West with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cedar Mountain). They blew past the Renville County West Jaguars 51-16 on Saturday. The win continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Jaguars: they've now won three in a row.

Cedar Mountain's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jackson Guetter, who rushed for 99 yards, and also picked up 91 receiving yards. Thomas Dahmes also helped out with an impressive 82 receiving yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Cedar Mountain was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 273 rushing yards. They are a perfect 3-0 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

The victory got Cedar Mountain back to even at 3-3. As for Renville County West, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.
