Ridgeview won the last time they faced West and Akasia Jackson did her part to make sure it happened again. The Wolf Pack simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the Vikings 60-18 for which the team can thank Jackson, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and ten rebounds. She is becoming a predictor of Ridgeview's success: when she posts at least 15 points the team is 2-1 (and 1-3 when she doesn't).

Victoria Smith-Chaplin was another key player, putting up six points and six boards. She is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as she's posted one of at least 50% in the last four games she's played.

Ridgeview's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for West, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Ridgeview has already played their next game, a 70-36 win against Wasco on the 12th. As for West, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on South at 6:30 p.m. on January 6, 2026.
