Sewickley Academy has gone 3-0 against Aquinas Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. Sewickley Academy will head into Saturday's contest out to bounce back: they won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Saturday. They were beaten by Riverview 48-18. Sewickley Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 26-4.

Meanwhile, Aquinas Academy ended up a good deal behind Union Area on Thursday and lost 56-37. The Crusaders have struggled against the Scotties recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Sewickley Academy will need focus on slowing down Lucy Keverline, one of several Aquinas Academy players who made an impact when they last played. She posted five points. Those five points gave Keverline a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Tess Duer, who had five points in addition to five boards and three steals.

Sewickley Academy dropped their record down to 2-2 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Aquinas Academy, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

Sewickley Academy was able to grind out a solid win over Aquinas Academy in their previous matchup back in February of 2018, winning 42-35. Will Sewickley Academy repeat their success, or does Aquinas Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
