Baseball Recap: Flint River Academy Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Flint River Academy and Vidalia Heritage Academy squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Flint River Academy had to settle for second. They fell 6-2 to the Eagles. The Wildcats have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Flint River Academy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ethan Newman, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Flint River Academy's loss dropped their record down to 16-4. As for Vidalia Heritage Academy, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-13.

As of now, neither Flint River Academy nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
