Soccer Recap: Arcadia Takes a Loss

Arcadia and Huntington Beach squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Arcadia had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Huntington Beach Oilers by a score of 1-0. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, the Apaches' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Arcadia's defeat dropped their record down to 10-2. As for Huntington Beach, their victory bumped their record up to 14-5.

Arcadia does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Huntington Beach, they will square off against Orange Lutheran at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Orange Lutheran will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Huntington Beach surely won't give up without a fight.
