The scorekeeper got an easy start on Tuesday as neither Okaw Valley nor Warrensburg-Latham made it on the board until the seventh inning. The Timberwolves won by a run and slipped past the Cardinals 5-4. That's two games straight that the Timberwolves have won by just one run.

Okaw Valley is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-13 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.6 runs over those games. As for Warrensburg-Latham, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-8.

Looking ahead, Okaw Valley will host Dieterich at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Timberwolves' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Movin Maroons have averaged an impressive 7.3 runs per game this season. As for Warrensburg-Latham, they will challenge Central A & M at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
