Basketball Game Preview: Elmwood-Murdock Knights vs. Louisville Lions

The Elmwood-Murdock Knights are taking a road trip to square off against the Louisville Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Elmwood-Murdock came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were dealt a 67-31 loss at the hands of Lincoln Christian.

Meanwhile, Louisville hadn't done well against Centennial recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Lions walked away with a 49-40 win over the Broncos.

Louisville's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Elmwood-Murdock, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Elmwood-Murdock was able to grind out a solid win over Louisville in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, winning 57-46. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
