Mendon won the last time they faced Britton Deerfield and things went their way on Thursday too. The Hornets secured a 28-24 W over the Patriots. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hornets.

Owen Gorham had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 134 yards and one TD, and also picked up 36 receiving yards and one score. Ryder Gorham was another key player, rushing for 28 yards and one touchdown.

Mendon's record is now 2-0. As for Britton Deerfield, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
