Basketball Game Preview: Franklin Panthers vs. Eagle Rock Eagles

Franklin is 2-8 against Eagle Rock since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 4:30 p.m.

It was a proper cat-fight when Franklin took on Lincoln on Wednesday. The Panthers fell 43-37 to the Tigers.

Meanwhile, Eagle Rock had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.5 points) and they went ahead and made it 11 on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 51-25 margin over the Knights. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 22 points or more this season.

Eagle Rock's victory bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Franklin, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.

Franklin was taken down by Eagle Rock 54-8 in their previous meeting back in January. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Eagles' Kaylie Cook, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and ten steals.
