JSerra Catholic entered their tilt with Chino Hills on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Their defense stepped up to hand the Chino Hills Huskies a 1-0 shutout. The Lions' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matches.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Kaylee Hanna, who's now up to six this season.

JSerra Catholic's win bumped their record up to 7-3-1. As for Chino Hills, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-4-3.

JSerra Catholic will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Roosevelt at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
