Baseball Game Preview: McEachern Indians vs. North Gwinnett Bulldogs

For the second straight game, McEachern will face off against North Gwinnett. The Indians will head out on the road to face off against the Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (McEachern 3.4, North Gwinnett 3.2) so any runs scored will be well earned.

McEachern heads in on the heels of a playoff matchup on Tuesday. They lost 12-0 to North Gwinnett. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Indians, who until this contest were averaging 3.38 runs allowed.

McEachern saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyce Williams, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

The victory (which was North Gwinnett's ninth in a row) raised their record to 31-2. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for McEachern, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 24-8.
