Hoover's win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-10-3. As for St. Ansgar, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9-2 record this season.

Hoover didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-1 victory against West Fork on the 13th. As for St. Ansgar, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 9-1 win against Charles City on the 16th.
